Alpha Flight recovers from their battle after the Derangers, realizing that they are in the middle of a blizzard. The only surviving Deranger, Goblyn, remains outside and Purple Girl implores her teammates so save Goblyn from the cold. Goblyn's natural reaction is to lash out and she attacks most of Alpha Flight. Purple Girl risks her life to protect Goblyn from the angry Alphans and Goblyn finally realizes they aren't there to hurt her.
